HELP!!! My folding mirrors can't fold!!! any mechanic in melbourne good for FTO???

when i got my fto i had no control of the elec mirrors or the traction control... turned out they had just been unplugged from the switches... maybe theve fallen out?

Yeah!!! Why's that!!! how come? when i got it, it never worked anyway. geez.

AS I said in the other thread, maybe your car is a Nakaya Tune and doesn't have this. In that case, come to think of it you shouldn't have climate control either, just the normal Mitsi aircon. Hope that helps!

Nakaya tune has a different body kit.

So as to save confusion, can we keep this to one thread rather than spreading this over two?

just the plugs directly behind the switch had been pulled out... i had taken the bottom kick pannel off the dash to fit my alarm and i noticed it... just meant that i couldnt disable my tcl and adjust my mirrors... plugged them back in and it worked fine... white socket from what i remember... have to get upside down inside the car.... can get a bit cramped...


still trying to find the engine number on my block people!!!

yesterday i finally found some time to had a look at it, and guess what! i openned up the fuse box and there wasnt any fuse in there!!! so just took a spare fuse which was provided and plugged it in, walah!!! hahaha now it's working fine, thanks for all you guys help. Maybe next i'll try to connect it to my remote so that it will close n open when i open or lock my door.

Let's hope my problem is as easy, you see my mum was driving my car and took it in, wait for it........... an automatic car-wash (bloody stupid things them!) she folded the mirrors in and when she tried to fold them back out only the left one would the right one had to be done manauly anyone know what could be wrong?

dodgy wiring? something jamming it? rather limited in what could be wrtong with it if 1 folds and the other doesnt...
