DBA rotors

Post by Jase726 »

"DBA are no longer making rotors for the FTO. They will be still making the fronts as they are the same as Magnas". That statement was from a DBA rep. Anyone know anyone that confirm this? I was waiting on my rears but now it seems I'll have to go for an alternative. Autobahn are chasing something up through another one of their suppliers that seems to think he'll be able to help. If it is the case and I have any luck I'll post up the info on the new supplier and part numbers etc if anyone is interested.

According to my DBA source they don't have any slotted cross drilled rotors for the Fto anymore. Am gonna poke him for a normal slotted once more.

Would prefer normal slotted anyway. Dont care if they are 4000's or not.

Well I'm pretty sure you can still get the RDA slotted rears.

I think thats what shadowwarrior has already done. I suspect anything left is going to be atone of the distributors and not DBA itself.

The RDA rears (RDA7621) are also discontinued. There are a few sets left on eBay, but they're absurdly expensive.

Best bet would be to give Mike at Camskill a call, get him to give you his best quote on freight, as he's got a clearance special on at the moment, only 50 odd quid a set:

Alternatively, have a look on Import Monster. The Japs have bazillions of cool brand discs on there like Project Mu & Brembo to suit the FTO.

But be careful of fake brembos, brembos do not come slotted and drilled.

A lot of stuff on eBay use a blank brembo discs and they drill them after they leave the factory with less precise equipment than what brembo does and more prone to cracking.

Brake parts Australia do an off the shelf rear rotor and will slot them at customers request.

Correction, oem replacements don't, Brembo Sport do.
