Ok so just to confirm.........I've got the thing in drive and I've got the steering wheel straight and I rev it in first gear then in clicks into 2nd and so forth. The driver side is still not turning........either something's wrong or is the FTO actually a 1-wheel drive?

Full slip actually.
Yes mate, still normal, drive is taking the path of least resistance. Once both the wheels are on the road, it'll work fine.

According to Ben the tranny on LSD takes a wide shaft and a thinner shaft at the same time and under load they both have to go at the same time
