FTO Feeling Sluggish

Post by ObsidianRadio »

Hi all!

So the FTO is feeling a little sluggish...

When I put my foot down, acceleration is just awful, have to drop it down to 2nd to get it to go over 80km/h, quite a few friends have commented saying "it sounds a bit sick" (not in the good way ) and I feel very little throttle response!

What really made me realize is when I hopped in the black GR to take it for a run, and it felt like a rocket in comparison to the red one, and it's completely stock standard!

What should I be looking at and what should I do to increase the overall health and power of my motor? I'm not looking for high end performance or anything, just a decent amount of power!

the veilside comments are pretty funny. :)

Anyway, when was the last time you change your fuel filter? and check your airfilter as well.

if its a tip, and the aboves did not improve anything, might be torque converter, i had that prob.

thats what i faced, might be something else. just my 2c :)

Pretty sure will be your fuel filter but most likely explanation is snow plough on front. When it cools down again will take a look then make you wet your pants with turbo FTO lol

Sounds good mate! I have the new fuel filter ready to go so when it cools down, we can do the fuel filter, plugs, seals and air filter! If that doesn't change anything, I'll wet myself and steal your car
