Window tinting
Just out of curiosity, how much does it cost to get your windows tinted?
Thinking about getting this done for a while.

Well it also depends if you doing it in Summer or Winter, the type of film your going 2 use, but like Mikey said, $200 is a good price.

my dad had his alfa done 2 weeks ago, and it cost $300 but that was for a a lot bigger surface area.... I imagine an FTO should be a lot cheaper...
Mikey was this just your drivers side, passenger window + rear windscreen or did u do that small rear passenger window (my rear passenger is a lot darker already).

Question, can you get a tint that sorta reflects silvery, and looks silvery? In general? Because i'm not a fan of the straigh out black... or would that silvery reflecting be illegal... I want coloured tint! I think to much NFS:U for me...
An article I found that man be slightly interesting, about tint in general: http://www.autospeed.com.au/cms/A_1625/article.html

I asked that exact question when I had mine done. There is only one other "colour" that is legal and that's a greeny colour which apparently fades out in our climate after about 6 months.Boris wrote:Question, can you get a tint that sorta reflects silvery, and looks silvery?
I've seen silvery tint on house windows but I reckon you'd definitely get done for that on a car, it would be too distracting to other drivers with the amount of light it would reflect in all sorts of direction.
You can however sometimes get darker than legal tint on the back window if you have a nice person doing your tint job and it looks suh-weet!...so I've been told *evil grin*.
