That looks fantastic. I bought the foggies as well after you posted them up (about a month ago). Still havent arrived yet, but after seeing your pics, rather keen to get my hands on them. Obviously the bar ended getting over there OK then. I heard from the grapevine you are considering some of the other kit parts as well......

Cheers guys, yea I like the look of the fogs there, they sit a little further forward than I would like, but that's as he used the stock mounting, slightly modified to fit the new lights.
It came across unscathed as well

The guy at the shop was surprised by the quality of mold, very little work was required to make it fit, the only thing I have really noticed, and i'm not too sure if it's the bonnet or the bumper, but there is a decent sized gap between the bonnet and the bumper. I'll post a pic of it later on.
But yea I want the rest of the kit at some stage, the rear and the side skirts.
It's almost certain that I will be coming over for the bonfire next year..... and that rear bumper looks might fine.....

But we will have to see what the bank account permits when the time comes

If you remember the pic I posted earlier, with how the fogs look a lot smaller than the hole? it looks soooo much better now, seems to fit perfectly

Yep, they did a really good job on that mould. Best fitting bar on the market by a long shot. Re the bonnet gap, try adjusting your bonnet forward. The bar should not leave any bigger gap than a stock bar as it is based on a stock bar.

But yea I want the rest of the kit at some stage, the rear and the side skirts.

The Kaze fenders are the most recent addition, with taillights being the next.

The kaze fenders I'm considering, I'm just not too sure how much I like the top vents, but I love the sides, and the rear lights i'm really keen on seeing how they look completed

A question, how did you hook up the indicators?
as they just have a big plug....

So i've got one ring working, but I still can't figure out how to wire the indicators in...

This is the plug on the indicator, barely enough room to even think of soldering a wire on it...

Can you crimp some female spade terminals onto a bit of wire and plug them into the pins of the indicator?

So I kinda have a connector for it, I used my spades, but bent them in half so that they just squeeze over, then have covered them in heatshrink so that they don't touch....
will have to do for now I think.

The rings look amazing! They will pull the bitches!
The colour difference is a bit... but MUCH better than what you had! We shall try adjust your bonnet sometime soon?

I had a problem like that before but with something else. What I did was modify the female spade terminals by squeezing it together a bit until its a tight fit on the pin.

So, I installed the driver's side light wiring, all went well, apart from the fogs, as they where too hard to try and wire up with the car sitting on the ground.
I then installed the passenger's side CCFL, and that went fine, so I tried to install the Indicator, went to turn it on, and it blew a fuse.
All good, as I have a spare! So I rewired that light, turned it on again, and it blew another! Damn!
I grabbed the fuse for the interior lights, re-insulated those wires, and Bam it went again!
I started to get a bit confused here, so I unplugged the passenger's side harness altogether, and used the fuse from the aircon circuit, hit the hazards, and it blew again!!!
Unplugged the driver's side harness, grabbed the fuse from the headlights, put that in, and the rear/side hazards worked!
So I will pick up some new fuses tomorrow, and just go without headlights/interior lights/aircon for the morning, and put them back in when I can get the fuses after work.
I will jack the car up maybe tomorrow, or wednesday, and then try it again, where I can easily see all the plugs.

Lession for today: Do not work on the front lights at midnight, with the car on the ground, and no spare fuses!!

Alright, so after replacing 5 fuses, and buying 5 spares

I have the indicators, and the fog lights working!
Oh, and one of the CCFs

Nick noticed that one of the power packs is missing a pin, which would explain why it's not working.

I messaged the seller, and they said that they are willing to send another one out, or I could just cut and wire in, which I would like to do, but I've already soldered in the other half of the cable... But I may end up having to do that anyway, as I have a WOF in a couple of days, and park lights are a required part of that test...

And so are tyres... Of which I am worried mine may not pass due to

Probably HIDs that match the rings
Then new 17" rims + good tyres ASAP

If I fail the WOF:
New cheapo Tyres

You could always hook your angel eyes up to the parkers wiring. They might accept it.

That's the plan, but as I was saying, one of the inverters for the angel eyes has a damaged connector, so I've got to cut and solder it back together for the WOF.
