Recommend me a good FTO mechanic near sydney city please?

Post by hogan »

As above sick of dealing with cowboys trying to rip me off on both labour and parts. Im pretty handy having over 25+ jap cars over the years but only being new to sydney i dont have time nor tools. Want someone who could do work as nixer evenings and or weekends and knows the FTO inside out? Cash in hand for little bots like fitting pads, cv joint and replacing brake master cylinder. Fire names an numbers this way. Im near 2017 thanks.

I can do pads, rotors, oil, filters, plugs, leads etc...
Other, larger, more complex jobs - I take mine to Top Secret at Blacktown. Not cheap, but they look after me and I trust them with my car.

If he is free, Bennoz is pretty much the best person in the country to work on an FTO for both price and knowledge - just so happens he is our president too

GL trying to get him when he IS free though

Jobs like swapping out CV's, brake pads + rotors I can do, and I'm nearby at 2036. Have been putting lawso's car back together, so I know the engine bay pretty well now
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

Those parts you want changed are off the shelf parts. Any mechanic will be able to do it for you!
