You shouldnt, as its not a tint covering them, but the light itself is that color. I might be wrong but i would assume not, and cops arent gonna know that theyre not genuine FTO repeaters obviously etc jsut say theyre stock?
ok, just wasnt sure, was doing abit of reading from google on other forums said something about has to be visible from like 200cm away? though say i got into a accident would insurance still cover me cause there black? the side repeaters are really most visible at night so flashing would still occur to the same brightness i guess
I would still check either way, again im only going on common sense here. For 15 pound its probably worth getting them, putting them in and then testing to see - then ring up your insurer and inform them as they may want to get a guy out to inspect to confirm etc.
