Man that thing must come home like a rocket - 5.2 to 100 not that fast, but 11.9 for a standing quarter! Now that is performance! :D

Just remember, they are figures on a website, I didn't see anything to back those numbers up. If I ever had a car like that, I would atleast put up evidence. :|

I think the dude is in the middle of upgrading his website.

He's been around a long time.

I'm pretty sure his FTO is legit. His previous website had a lot of information, including Dyno figures, and every bit and pieces he used.

I think Dannyboy has even corresponded with him before if my memory serves me correct.

Oh, and to put that 0-1000m in perspective, he claims 19.9s. Lets just chuck a couple of other reasonable cars in there (from this months motor mag):

Ferrari Enzo - 20.1s
Porsche Carrera GT - 20.4s
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren - 20.5s

I don't know about you guys, but 19.9 is sounding a bit dubious to me. Take the Enzo - 485kw and weights 1365kg's. Our friend in the FTO claims 500hp and we know about what his car weighs, say 1200kg.

Sorry - don't believe the quarter of the kilometer. The 0-100 sounds feasable though.

Assuming that's 500hp at the flywheel, 11.9s on a FWD like the FTO would be very difficult to achieve unless the car is equipped with a high-ish stall, big slicks, drag suspension setup and a shitload of Jenny Craig treatment on the car's kerb weight....

no offense but unless he can prove his qtr mile times with an official timeslip, i would be dubious about his claims.

my 2c... :P
