Was watching the news today on channel 10 in QLD and they showed some footage of the hail in sydney and in the centre of the frame was a silver FTO with hazard lights on getting pounded by hail. Wonder if it was someone from here?
Wasn't mine Yeah I saw the late edition on Ten but didn't notice any FTOs? But I was reading the paper at the same time...Only decent car I saw was a BMW Z3 hastily covered with a blanket and debri all over it. Glad the hail wasn't up here.
man w hen i was driving it was hailing !!!
sooooooooooooo scared that the hail would kill my car
luckily it didnt give my baby any damage !
haiiii
such a close call !
hail was soo big too !
and my front yard was like snowing !!!
my car was outside when it happened, luckily someone called me up so i can put it in inside!! i got hailed on before and left a mark on the car so i didnt want that happenin again! the hail was pretty massive in the west!! omg!
yeah.. some places got hail like mid-day.. where i was, it started hailing like in the evening.. didnt seem like much though. Looked like it'd just snowed when i walked out side.
haha i dont have a garage and had to watch my baby get hailed on but luckily no damage but it looked pretty funny, haha it was buried and so was my backyard.
i remember a while back, maybe a year ago, when melbourne got that nightmare hail that smashed windows and stuff. damn cricket ball sized hail stones. i also remember me and the missus running outside with about 6 dunna covers from our bed and the closet and covering the FTO. her car got dammaged, but its an old camery so its thick skinned and held out well. my naighbours bmw got hammered hard core, his roof was shocking, the FTO was untouched thanks to our quick thinking, unfortunatly all the covers were drenched so we had to sleep at a friends house that night LOL but the FTO lived!!! MUAHAHAHA
hahah.. wow
There was a freak hail storm in syd a while back.. it was pretty damn bad.. it put like holes in roof tops
and all the cars not protected were banged up pretty bad. haha lucky me it hit the suburb next to me.
