Hey everyone need a bit of help here only new and tried doing a bit of search's but couldn't find anything really.
But my main two problems are that when i start the car in the morning when cold starting it just stalls straight away ! but if i keep my foot to put the rev's to 1-2k and do that for like a minute it will run fine and start every time during the day ???
Also my second problem is that when i drive and it only has happened twice when driving (owned for a month, everyday driver) the car changes gears erotically and then goes too third and won't change gears and the neutral light flashing ?
Also one other thing is the dash lights are really dim but then go bright and then dim ? they change like every night :S
Dash lights - there is a scrolling type button on the right, behind/next to the steering wheel and next to the mirror controller. Scroll up to turn brightness up, down to turn it down. Perhaps you're bumping it? Try turning it up. If not, theres an issue somewhere along the line (not sure how to fix/what it would be)

Your stepper motor is not working. PM dstock for parts. Easy fix. ( I had the same prob)

The dash light dimmer is installed during compliancing, so it could be anywhere on the dash.

I would say that your dash dimmer switch has an internal fault or the wiring connections behind the switch are becoming loose inside the harness, so only part of the power is reaching the lights.
My dimmer switch was dropped in behind the mirror switch (never installed in the dash), and was faulty, so I removed the switch and joined the wires = no dimming capabilities but also no "really dim but then go bright and then dim"

Okay thanks guys a million !!! and also is it a hard job to put in a new stepper motor ? and how much do they go for ????
And i found the dimmer, its a little winder just near the fuse box and still haven't had any luck with it it just dims and lighten's the odo but no luck on the lights for speedo and two tacho's ):
If the dimmer is in the same panel as the mirror switch then you can just pull the whole panel out and have a look at the wires, some may have detatched

Dimmer is near his fuse box which I believe is on the panel underneath
