Nope, there is no way a 22mm bar with bushes is going to fit in a GPX 18mm bracket.silverGPX wrote:jam 'em in!!Shane001 wrote:Ben, how did you fit the 22mm poly bushes in the stock brackets? Are they 18mm stock brackets?Bennoz wrote:Yeah, just pull those D bushes out of the Whiteline brackets & put them in the stock ones. Here's a pic of when I did mine years ago.
I've fitted it with a slight modification. I'm using the standard bottom bolt and drilled a hole for the upper bolt and using the bush brackets that come with the kit. I think this will do the job no problem.
Ben, is your rear bar 22mm or 20?

22mm
I didn't have any issues at all
They just fitted, no mods required at all...
You know what I think they've done, they've changed the bush to only fit their bracket. Remember I bought mine 10 years ago & it didn't come with any of that mounting rubbish, just a bar & bushes. I reckon they did it so you have to buy the full kit of them.

Yeah, but even with just the bar in the bracket, there wasn't much clearance, so wouldn't have been much bush in there...
Unless you have GPvR rear brackets, which are stock 20mm?
Edit: Just checked ASA, the upright that bolts to the chassis is the same, but the bracket that holds the bush is different. So this could be it?

On another not, mine is actually a Selby 3 point adjustable 22mm sway bar
Any tips on which would be the hardest/softest setting?

I dunno mate, welcome to compare notes & have a look next time we catch up.
Selby have always made good gear! Hardest setting is the hole closest to the mounting points of the bar, aka not the far end hole. (UTBNB)
