Oil Temperature...

Post by ObsidianRadio »

Okay, so whenever I decide to go up the freeway or any general uphill drive, my temperature gauge rises dramatically...

Goes just under maximum mark, and I expect steam to start bursting out from under the hood...RPM is at a regular level so between 3-4000rpm in either 3rd or 4th (tip) and I'm not quite sure if this is normal...When I go downhill or am doing regular city driving, needle's usually dead centre or just below so that's alright, it's only when I go uphill..

Any reason why? Is it normal? Should I load pies and sausage rolls into my engine bay and apply to be on the next season of the inventors with my rolling oven?
