Shockers
Hi Guys,
do you know where to get front shockers for the FTO? I tried completefto but they dont seem to have the part number. Are there any aftermarket ones that can fit into the FTO or do i need to get the genuine one? Also how much am I looking at?

Did you do a search on this site? Your looking anywhere from $400 odd to round the $2400 for full coilovers. Stay away from pedders the are expenisve as hell and pretty sh*t service from what i have been heard. Are you wanting to uprgrade or just replace?

i had problems with Pedders (campbelltown nsw)
when i took my BMW in for a $25 ? safety check. i had a knock in the front shock, which they said was stuffed and that i needed to replace both for some stupid price. i knew this was wrong as the shocks were only 2 mths old. turned out to be the shock was loose in the strut tube and just needed tightening. so be careful !!!

I thought shockers were hydraulics? Anyway, my mech took out the shockers and push it all the way down. By right the top is supposed to push back out fairly quickly. mine took a much longer time to push out and it stopped halfway. I had to pull it out the rest of the way. I thought of going back to Mitsubishi Spares at the Ralliart department (seems that they are the only ones who knows about FTO genuine parts) but i wanted to get a feel of what the price was first

Unless you want coilovers, go with the recommendation Bennoz made above.
