150k Service

Post by Taz »

Just read the FTO manual and have a good idea of what needs to be done but out of curiosity from experience is there anything that is not mentioned or typical that should be inspected or replaced? Just passed 145 tonight and would want everything ready to go when it rolls in, hate driving round the commowhore while the FTO is getting work done
So far im getting apart from the usual 5000km service:
Fuel filter
Spark Plugs
Rear shocks are getting a little noisy, probably they will have to go.
PS pump has a small leak, might get away with replacing the gromit as thats where its leaking from
All fluids - inc Rad, LSD etc etc
Side mount has a small crack starting to form, should probably get that replaced
Probably need new tyres and pads, rotors probably need machining while im at it
Im sure there are a few things im missing - general meticulous inspection etc
More thinking along the lines of FTO specific parts or things you normally wouldnt think about that might be under par in the FTO.

Cheers guys

Nope because mine has been so unreliable everything has been changed before 150k haha.

But I don't leave issues and get them fixed as soon as I see it. Helps I can do it myself.
