Brakes

Post by Daniel2019 »

While lightly pressing the brakes on my FTO, they squeal. They work fine and there is no squealing when they are being pressed so much as to start slowing the car down - only when feathering them. Im guessing theres dirt or dust or something on them or possibly the pads are simply crap.. thoughts/ideas? :D

There's a low pad indicator on one of the pads that let's out a squeal when the pads need to be changed might be that or just shot pads

Yep, means you need new pads. The discs will potentially need to be machined to produce optimum breaking as well depending on how much they've worn.
