I went BC Racing Gold coilovers with 5 kg/mm at the front and 3 kg/mm at the rear. This is quite a harsh ride but as I like to take my car to the track, I am quite happy with them.
Sweet thanks guys,
So what about a 4 & 3.2 set up?
My guess is it probably wouldn't be too bad, but would shake the car around a fair bit?
(I'm also guessing my springs and shocks are old and deteriorated now, so it may actually be a big improvement in handling, just not comfortability)
Not off the top of my head, but it's not too hard. I've got the Superlows in the missus car & even with 18's on, its still a pretty nice ride. Easier on the back than mine.
To give you an idea, with lovell super low springs and 17" rims in my corolla; it feels like I'm floating on a cloud in comparison to the G4s in my fto which had a spring rate of 7.5kg/mm (front) and 6.5kg/mm (rear). They were brutal for long trips. I think the lovells I have are around the 2-4kg mm mark.
I managed to cope with the G4s after a while but whenever I'd hop into another car; I would always feel like something wasn't right as I could no longer feel every bump on the road pulsating up my spine
