Alternator Belt

I was driving along today and I suddenly heard a noise from the engine bay, at first I thought a twig or something flew up into the belts. But after I pulled over and popped the bonnet I noticed that the alternator belt had shredded and one of the ribs was missing. So I have decided I will change both the power steering and alternator belts.
I have two questions.

1. I searched for what belts I will need and found 2 part numbers per belt.
Alt. Belt - 4PK940 and 4PK945
P/S Belt - 6PK1070 and 6PK1080

Will either of these belts fit?

2. Would it be recommended to replace the tensioners also and is there a way to check if they need replacing?

Yeah either or will go on. Tensioners will take up any slack if you go the longer ones.

Up to you if you change the tensioners. Unless you can hear them while its running, you're not gunna know if they need replacing till you take the belts off & give them a spin by hand.

All in all, to swap the lot out is only 20 mins worth of work.

also check if theres any leaks (oil in particular) around the area, cause my old car had several belts snap (always thought i was tightening them too much, till i had a closer look and there was a small oil leak which dripped on

Took 20 minutes to fit both.

My alternator belt and power steering belt came off while I was on moggil road this afternoon in my FTO I need both belts what place did you get them from and how hard to fit?

Just go to your local auto parts store and ask them for either of the following part numbers.

Alt. Belt - 4PK940 or 4PK945
P/S Belt - 6PK1070 or 6PK1080

6PK1065 is the exact fit for the AC belt. But you can probably go a bit in either direction.
