Indicator problems

Post by nikhan »

Ok something is pretty wrong with my indicators when I signal right. It blinks double quick time on the dash as well as the orange indicators at both front and back. One minute its like that and probably some time later it becomes normal again. Sometimes it goes very quick and then goes back to normal 3 seconds later while im waiting at the lights. Could there be a trip somewhere or some other wire causing thid problem??? Only happened when I changed my O2 sensor and tat silly mech opened my gear box to try to reach the connectors for it..but of course I showed him the DIY and he only changed the wires at the bottom. Anyway suspect there might be a link to this. Where should I start looking? Damn this post makes me sound so noob...

That would have been my guess too, had a similar problem when I owned my Nissan NX and I just replaced by indicator bulbs.

As above.. A bulb will blow soon... That is the car warning you, before it actually happens..

Theyre on a circuit, hazards will flash at the same speed regardless, you have a blown bulb.

Apparently the panelbeater blew the fuse while reconnect all my indicators and stuff... ppfft and I had to be the one to source out the problem and fix it. Oh well...at least I have got my car back. The factory T's look sweet as man...but I because its a bit lower I cant get into my driveway. LOLZ
