Absolute BULLSHIT! Mate if I was you as soon as he came back with that BS I would have said to him straight up "NO worries mate, I'll call Fair Trading and see what they think of it!" then start walking out the door. I guarantee he would have changed his attitude in an instant!

Mate you need to toughen up. Sadly the only way to get anything done right in Aus is to get tough with the dodgy fucks. c**nts! :evil:

There is a thing in Australia called Statutory Warranty, overrides any dodgy contract these wankers think they can weasil you out of a valid claim with. Call Fair Trading!
