I Don't think you can just link to a pic on your computer on this site. I think you need to put the pics up on the web first then you can link to them. To do this you could use a free hosting site, there are some people here that do this and maybe they could reccommend some for you. Or your ISP may give you a free amount of space to use that you could put some pics on then link to them.

You just have to make sure the hosting site let you do direct picture link, or just end up with a white square box with a red X in it.

Yeah, just for the record though, the box with the red cross that is my avator should actually just be one of the character avators from this site, I have no idea why it doesn't work anymore, it hasn't since the last server upgrade or whatever. :cry:

:D Hey Rallymad - my avatar is broken as well.... will have to get Steve to look into.

jr - depends what you are trying to do:- if you want your pics in the gallery, then you just need to go into the gallery, submit your media and Steve (smorison) will approve them within a couple of days...

otherwise you will need your own webspace to put a link to if you want to post pics in the normal threads.
