Hmm so I'm currently looking for a new car as I feel as though my Fto is nearing it's life (240000km). While my FTO still gives me the enjoyment of driving it, I just feel as though it's going to clonk out on me!
My budget is $15k MAX! and I'm after a galant VR-4 in manual and preferably black.
Since I'm not familiar with the car maybe some of you might point out the common faults and what to watch out for when looking for one. Also any dealers you recommend?

For 650 bucks you can get a sub 50k FTO engine

If I'm going to get a new engine for my FTO, I'd tie it in with swapping to a manual box too. But I'm after more HP and want to stay away from nissans. And since the galant seems like a cheap Evo I'm keen to look for a nice one.
