595's are sh*t, had them for like 4 months and all 4 are getting low on tread. Shithouse in the wet.

I'm sorry but I'll have to agree... But on the dry, it's good until the tread is low...

They grip pretty decently in the wet! I have Falken ZE-502's on the rear, and I pushed in a big roundabout in the rain, and the fronts gripped well that the back slid out and it did a 90deg, ended up facing the roundabout 8O

But im pretty sure it also has to do with my rear toe outs ranging from 1 to 3.8 which apparently cant be fixed to toe in as the bolts were maxxed out, so i was told.

Holy sh*t, why are they out so far, they should be at 0 standard. Sounds like something is bent? What camber are they at as that affects toe as well. Who aligned it?

I told them to do the camber to be around -1.2 to -1.4 which it is now.
Something is definitely bent 8O

The fronts were done right... Just something with my control arms i think. It was done by jaxquickfit, altho they did a good service, its a fault in my car sadly.

I don't have any problems with wear. 30k and still about 60-70%, and dry performance is pretty good, but I agree these are THE MOST useless tyres in the wet. I am endlessly amazed at how crap they are.

The wear on my last 595ss's were mostly from camber wear and the outside tread... The middle was still pretty decent. Just annoying, when 1st gear mivec is useless in the wet, and sometimes even 2nd  even in a straight line...

I'll post my question here instead of opening a new thread.

Is anyone running with kumho ku31's? If so, how do you find them?

Also is anyone running 225 45 17's on 7" wide wheels? How are they and is there rubbing at all?

Cheers guys.

Have eagle f1 gds3. Motor mag did a test on them and they stopped a car better in the wet than dry! Storage!

Same happened in the Goodyear assymetrics.

The GDS3's used to be good when they were made in Europe, now they made in Asia... still good, but not what they used to be.
