mad as, how much will this set me back?

the problem was that I installed a GPX tranny in my GPR (I requested a GPR tranny but seller buyer confusion and by the time I realised it was already installed after some hard work) ANYWAY,gears 1 and 4 dont work when plugged in, and all gears work when not plugged in but obviously no working speedo.

...which speed sensor is this? I am noob

I cant tell you which one you need unfortunately. Maybe someone else might have a suggestion. Id suggest having a look at the error codes though as that might help.

As to prices, I can only give estimates as final cost depends on exchange rate:

Both sensors are approx $65 each + postage from Japan

    Hope this helps

i have a gpvr and just bought a speed sensor off a gpx (i suspect) after getting a new gpx tranny. i just started up my car and it goes into limp mode immediatly, i havent done any trouble shooting as of yet and the diagnositcs suggest its because of the "throttle possition sensor", which is usual if anything goes wrong (such as horn shorting out or rear lights go off). so il let u know if you need a special gpvr sensor or just the traditional 3pin (gpx, ect) sensor after i run a few tests
