FS: Stock rims SYD - Sold!
As per the title, got a set of stockies to off load.
In top condition, approx 60% rubber left on el cheapo Sime tyres.
$Case of beer ono.
Oh & you got till Tuesday to come get too, otherwise they go out with council collection!

Keep them Ben and put some fat silks on them for the track/ 1/4 .

Cause that's the size tyre i run. I buy used tyres, ex Mini Challenge, only come in 17"

I buy slicks but they're starting to get scarce, mini challenge ended over a year ago now.
If you want to buy used semis visit the racetrack on any race weekend and look for racecars with the same size rim that you run, and ask them how often they buy new tyres and if they'd be interested in selling they're used ones. Obviously make sure you check them for flat spots or other damage, and obviously make sure there is plenty of wear left on them (beware though true semis only have about half the tread depth new that a normal road tyre has). I wouldn't pay more than a 1/3 the new price for the tyre. Also understand it's a bit hit and miss. It's more than just general appearance, heat cycles are just as important in determining if a used tyre will still have any grip, and unfortunately there's no way for you to know how many heat cycles they've had nor whether they were roaded correctly before use.
There's a State Championship round coming up at EC on June 18/19.
