Is is worth it!?

Post by YBBLK4 »

Hey guys, i seriously want a FTO!

So i was thinking, should i go and buy or give an offer to the guy down my street who never drives his one?
For the 3-4 years iv'e been living in my new house i have never seen that FTO move. It's picking up dust, leaves and cobwebs.

So i was wondering if you guys could help me out.
Is it worth it restoring the car back to it's original state? Or would it be cheaper just to buy a FTO off someone?

Also would it be hard to restore it? Finding parts and all that stuff?

Thanks guys! :)
And sorry if this is in the wrong forum page thingy, didn't know where else to put it lol.

Some people have had problem after problem on a cheap fixer-upper FTO (Lawso)...

Others have been lucky.. (FRE55H)

I guess it comes down to who you get it off.. Dwayne (DStocks) usually has some good ones to restore, but apart from that, u take the risk..

Where is the FTO u speak of.. We may know it..
I just had to add it ......

If it's a white 97 facelift with carbon wing, then no you can't have it

Also, if its a yellow COTY with alloys, then I think he wants to sell, but it has engine issues.

Hey, thanks for the reply guys.

The FTO is silver and it's in Mt Druitt, hahahaha.

I always look at it and think "What a waste of a car"

Probably stolen or police evidence from a ram raid. You'll never get it re-registered

I'll investigate..

Anyways, you're way better of buying a good condition FTO... look in the cars for sale section, there's a few good versionR's in there! specially Bushido's.
