Headlight Removal

Post by payaya »

Hey all how do you remove the headlights? I'm stumped! I was reading around, people are saying you have to remove the bumper to do this?

Is this true?

thanks

To remove the bumper you need to remove the plastic studs that connect the splash guard to the bumper. Drivers side you have 4 underneath and 1 just in front of the tyre and on the passenger side you have 3 and 1 respectively. This will allow you access to the two bolts holding connecting the bumper to the wings. At the front you need to remove the two bolts just above the radiator. Underneath you need to remove the 4 bolts that hold the arms of the bumper into the chassis. Then you need to remove the lightpods and the bumper should just slide forward.

Not sure what to do if you have a facelift.

If you want some pictures on this you can see it on the following PDF
