My aircon compressor is fked

So went to get my aircon regassed, and apparently the compressor is fked. Auto tune said like $1400! I politely declined

So now i'm just after suggestions as to what to do. Will any mitsi compressor fit it or where can I get one for cheap that i can just drop in? thanks

1400 is a bit rich, they cost about $400 second hand,
$100 -regas
$100 - atmosphere tax
