Radiator hoses

Post by Theremin »

I noticed my upper radiator hose has a small crack in it near the clamp. Does anyone know where I can get some replacement hoses from? Does Repco sell something that will fit (and if so, anyone know the part number?)

Cam,

You can buy a complete silicon hose kit from the online shop at www.autospeed.com.au, and yes, it does come in red, :-)

Otherwise try www.fto-ireland.com as they have all of the workshop manuals and parts listings, if you get hold of a part number it should just be a trip to your local Mitsu dealer.

I think there are also a couple of people on these forums that have a copy of the Mitsu CAPS parts program..............Would help myself but I am only half way through downloading it.

Cheers

Thanks Chris. $395 for a set of silicone hoses? Pass on that one. I rang Mitsubishi and they have NONE in Australia. They can get me some from Japan in 3 weeks. Top one will cost $27, not sure about the lower one. Also tried Rick & Joe's on the Gold Coast and they don't have any (except a couple of second hand ones off a GR, but I think they may be different). So, looks like I'll be crossing my fingers and watching the temp guage closely for the drive back to Brisbane later this week!
