I've had LEDs in my car for two years now. Definately worth investing. No problems with blown or "blacking" bulbs but the fast flash circuit in the indicator relay needs slightly modifying.

How did you go about fixing that up?WhiteLightning wrote:I've had LEDs in my car for two years now. Definately worth investing. No problems with blown or "blacking" bulbs but the fast flash circuit in the indicator relay needs slightly modifying.

You can get replacement flasher relays for LED indicators.

Driver side footwell, near the fusebox there, it replaces the normal indicator relay.

For turn signals, you can also buy a load resistor & mount it across both poles, 50watt 6ohm iirc..

Re: LED Taillight bulbs.
The FTOOC forum is down at the moment so i can't post a link to the "How to" for you but it's just about de-soldering a small resistor inside the relay. Only takes about 15 minutes but the replacement relay would be better.
