Re: shorter shift
Well, is based on exchange rate on the day, but the last one I bought cost 260 odd. We possible have a slightly better exchange rate atm, but that gives you a ballpark all the same.

Re: shorter shift
I didn't sell all my "go fast parts" I sold 2 of my "stop body roll" parts and I'm still putting the front brace on so relax bro... Anyway. It's more for dickfactor then for "go fast"Bennoz wrote:Dunno why you of all people would bother. Mr "sell all my go-fast parts"Kustom_FTO wrote:Oh okay, thats preety reasonable then... Hmmm... Re: shorter shift
Oh yeah definitely, and the track is the only place you enjoy your strut bars and shiz in, yeah?

Re: shorter shift
Well basically going around the street I can't see the strut braces being of much use.

Re: shorter shift
Try twitching the steering wheel and see how instantly the whole car responds.
Plus the reason why ordinary cars these days dont come with them is that they are not needed.
But for us
, we like pushing our FTO! Because we have the benefit of great handling, then add some other stuff to make that better!
I've also been told on runs, that when my car goes through uneven terrain, one of my wheels are on the air
. So stiff, plus that time when the boys jacked my car up on diy day, the whole side of the car lifted up when we were only meant to jack up the front driver's side wheel
.

Re: shorter shift
There's nothing good about that. 1 wheel off the ground = 1 tyre surface area not making contact with the road = 1 great big chance of loosing it into a pole.Gholdwayne wrote:I've also been told on runs, that when my car goes through uneven terrain, one of my wheels are on the air
This is the problem with coilovers that are too hard for the surface they're used on, not strut braces.

Re: shorter shift
Yeah thats just like when someone posted ages ago about people thinking they were drifting in evo's but they were just sciming across the bumpy surface.

And yeah, coilovers are hard. I do put it in a soft setting though...
