OK I just had my 28 point safety check today. So far everything seems to be fine (which was surprising because of the frequent squeaks i hear now and then). Thing is he said my LH lower rear bushes was noisy and suggested I remove it and lubricate it for 88 bucks. However no wear was evident. So probably I might just go get one and replace it altogether. Question is if i want those urethane bushes is it better to change all of them across the board or one is ok? And can I get them from supercheap instead of camskill??
2nd problem is that I am missing a RHS bump stop. Anyone knows the part number and where to get em or Dstocks you have some in supply??
Well there is a problem with ma car because with the squeaks and all...but he said it was all good and nothing needs to be change. Just maybe to lubricate one of the bushes in the the front which prob would get the noise away. But I was thinking if they are gonna take it out and put the same one in, might as well put a new one in. The bumpstop he said was missing I already knew abt it as my mech told me the other time but I keep forgetting to ask here whether anyone knows how to get em. Well this guy was pretty good at least he didnt try to bullshit me or what. Of all the 28 point check only these 2 were the issues so yeah...88 might just be the labour charges. I was expecting more sh*t to come out of my car actually...but surprising it was only 2 minor stuff. But u are right to be prudent
