if your cars are anything like my one when the gauge hits 1/8th of a tank left, I still have 30- 36L left in the tank.

I need a new fuel pump so the gauge works properly again

It wont strain the gearbox that much, more your engine.

You can change into 5th at 60kmh but u gotta make sure u arent giving it more accelerator than u would in 4th or its useless

A.k.a dont lug it, and only on flat or downward angled roads.

My FTO is tricky though.. I'll get most of my kms in the first half of the tank, then the second half just seems to only do like 150kms.. haha
I can give an update on my tank, just clicked over 510 and now the petrol light comes on on hills, so time to fill up :) haha

Yeah because i remember reading before I purchased my car that the fto's mivec engine is quite decent on fuel.
Only 250-300km says otherwise
Oh and I also forgot to mention i drive in 5th gear at 60km/h on flat road inorder to save fuel lol....

crusing at 60km/h in 4th gear she revs at 2.5k
Do these ^^ figures sound normal?

It's just expensive spending $60 for 250km :/
60km/h in 4th should be at 2.2k i'm preety sure.

I wouldn't chuck it in 5th doing 60 man puts strain on you g/box
Not true!

The tip box automatically puts mine into 5th at 60km ^ at normal acceleration.

I'd doubt it would put strain on the engine if it teaches itself to do that.
