I had wider tyres on it and it looked (and performed) better but the rubbing on the guards was pretty chronic :(

215s

btw, becareful putting spacers on because if you only put them on the back, the handling will go to shite in a big way. And if you add them to the front as well, you'll almost certainly have to roll the guards to avoid rubbing.

Nah not gonna roll guards or put spaces on the back... Pfft 215 isn't that wide, I wanna go like 235 or 245 but I don't think they will fit on the rims :(

Good luck, if you can get them on and still drive it without scraping, do it.
Even the 215s gave better cornering grip than the 205s and granted they weren't super wide or anything but they made all the difference to the look of the car. But the scraping on the guards, both front and back, drove me nuts.

Sounds like the offset on the rims is a bit low...

Thats a very narrow tyre to be streched over an 8 inch rim. Ideal is at least 225...

It doesn't look too bad though, and it also doesn't look dangerous, but you're right, ideal is around 215~235, but i like the look that this combination has made - stretched tyres, flush fitment, and dumped, but not too low.

But yeah, if only i had like a 9~10inch rim on the back and same amount of stretch would be very nice!

We have 215s on the front and 235s on the rear.
Only reason is because the rims came with 2 good 235s, so thoughts, why waste them...
Ours are 17x7 +42

Lol no worrires, only just got home then... 6pm lol. Finally got everything re-wired. Pulled apart the hole dash.. followed the cruisecontrol and finally found the black unit box hidden away.. i've blown a 2amp fuse.. thats right, 2 AMP... Heard of one of them? I havn't .. Apparently niether have Supercheap/Autobarn/other auto shops so it looks like i'm haeding to jaycar tomorrow morning.
And hopefully it should be sorted.

Other then that, i fully moved my crossovers in behind my stereo, (freakin hell what a mission).... and rewired my gearstick aswell..

So yeah.

What do you use that has battery power? Lol I have nothing in my car but my Phone, which.. well I don't ever need to charge in the car.
ONLY time id use it would be if i had a GPS but mine died and google maps generally does the job for me. My memory isn't to bad when it comes to remembering where to go so yeah.
Worse comes to worse, i hop on my phone to look where i am

Yeah, if whatever blew the 2 amp fuse draws less than 5 amps and anything else on the circuit can't handle more than 2 amps, you could immediately/eventually short out either the wiring or a device on the circuit. So unless you like rewiring cars and/or replacing bits for no good reason ;) I'd try and track down a 2 amp fuse.

What colour is the 2 amp fuse btw? I have a few packs of fuses I bought as spare, I can check if I've got a 2 amp amongst them.
