Re: Bennoz 6A13 Conversion
lol Well I have been doing some study on aerodynamics (for the front bar I am building). Anyway read an interesting article that by removing them can actually decrease the efficency of the radiator and or intercooler. Just thought I remember you saying your beast gets a little hot at times, maybe something to look at?? I dont have mine on either but after reading that I might put mine back on... I am looking for cheap horsepower lol

Yeah, you're quite right.. there's actually plenty I should be doing under the car for aerodynamics
At this stage the only time it gets hot is on the track after 5 or 6 or laps flatout, then it starts to get warm. It never really ''blows it stack'' so's to speak, it just gets real hot, then I back off & it cools down. The next step is to attack the cooling from the other side & get the oil cooler in. Im just trying to avoid having to shell out $900 for an aluminium radiator that may not solve the problem.

Finally got the oil catch can in yesterday. Nothing you can't do with a nutsert gun
Drilled straight into a blind section of steel in the car, wacked in 2 x 6mm nutserts, made up a bracket & bobs your uncle.
Oh and $110 worth of Earls fittings to make it work... expensive stuff

Ben, how much did the catch can set you back, looks like a sturdy unit. I would say its a little overkill but then again 6a13 in a fto is overkill

You'd be surprised, after 5 laps of Wakefield, my 'coke bottle' that was previously my catch can was spraying oil all over the place.
This was about $150 from memory from VPW.
They actually source it from these guys: http://pfefittings.com/index.php?cPath=755_777
