GPvR lower control arms - front

Post by Bennoz »

Looking for a set of thes control arms gents.

Dont need any bushes, or even the ball joint for that matter, just the bare arms :)

Got some interesting plans for them which could end up filtering down the line to an off the shelf part.

Give Chris at Engine Specialist Warehouse a call. That white half cut is a GPvR.

RPW might have them, as they were wrecking an FTO when we got the camshaft carriers(cam box) off them, 2 weeks ago.

Gonna try and cut & shut the pviot points, aka give more negative camber.
Im tired of only being able to get a degree from adjustable tops before the spring starts binding on the strut tower.

Don't u have coilovers ben?

Remember those camber bolts, I've been running them on the racecar at every round at max setting and they've never moved once. That's worth a couple of degrees. I torque them to the Whiteline specs, never over. Might be worth giving these a try again?

Mine are Tein NA's - actually the same diametre as stockers

Yeah, I know I could use camber pins, but because my car was been pranged in its previous life, I can't get an exact bloody setting out of them.
All on, one side will give me 1.5 degree's, the other will be 2.5 :x

So I need say a base level of 2 or 3 degrees that I can then adjust further from the tops (without having the springs bind in the towers from rubbing.)
