Water temp gauge

Post by fto12345 »

Hello,

Has any one installed this?
Does any one know where the water temp sensor is in the car?
Mine is electrical and it needs to be connected to the water temp sensor but I don't know where this is...

Also, any one connected a air/fuel ratio gauge in their car?
I have seen a few ftos with them....
Just wondering if this was hard to connect.

Please, need an urgent help...

Thank you,

The water temp sensor runs to the ECU. It'd be easiet to cut into it somewhere round there. Can't remember the colour of the wire, but I can find out for ya.

Hi TheSentry,

Yes please...that would be great!
So all I need to do is just merge the wires to one of the wires that's running to the ECU and it should be all sound?

Thank you,

Yeah mate, then it should be sweet. Will be nice and easy as well and save u from running wires thru the firewall and so on. I'll post the colour of the wire tonight when I get home from work.
