Well it was going to happen eventually

Post by koolio1234 »

Had some interested buyers come up all the way from albury. They liked what they saw and bought the fto. So now it's gone :( I was only a few days away from taking down my ads as I thought I'd struggle to sell it but someone had the chance to snap it up. I hope they get to enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed driving it over the nearly 2 yrs I've had it. I've also entertained the idea of getting another fto some time in the near future, when I finish uni and funds permit me, but its goodbye for now.

Plan to move onto something more suitable for work. Better load carrying abilities with good clearance. (triton/hilux/navara) But will happily stick around on the forums and stay involved as I've made some good friends on here :thumleft:

Wanted to thank everyone on here for their help over the least 2yrs. Since I've been here I have been thoroughly educated and advised on lots of things fto related that made ownership much easier.

Cheers :D

Yep, I made good mention of the club and told them to sign up and introduce themselves. Buyer seemed like a very good bloke, was telling me he's always wanted an fto but were very hard to find in his area. Still has an ftoau sticker on the window so should remind them and get the clubs name out there.

How did you sell it? Was it though car sales or similar? how long was it advertised for?

Sad to see it go too, it's been on loads of cruises!

Sold it through carsales, had it on there for about 3 months before it sold. Seller got in contact with me and next day he was down here from a 7 hours train ride all the way from albury to pick her up. Happened so quickly.

Im definitely going to miss the look on peoples faces when they see a parade of fto's file through on cruises.

Stick around for sure... i think that car's been involved in the club for a while now, hopefully the new owner keeps that up
Goodluck with your next car.

Btw is it rude of me to ask how much it went for in the end?

that car was unique in its own way, definitely admired it back in the day when i have yet to have an fto and seeing khalil's fto in the uni carpark!!

Plus, that fto is definitely one of the angriest sounding fto's iv heard specially when downshifting and flooring and overtaking me, definitly had to open my windows to get full satisfactijizzms!!, along with aj's(speaking from the bonfire cruise)
