Squeaky pedals + window rattle + dash rattle + rear rattle

Post by -Nighthawk- »

All of a sudden my car is starting to squeak in a few places.

1. The pedals start to squeak when you hit them on the right angle, I have looked and it looks like these can't be adjusted. I ordered some replacement pedals about a week ago but it looks like they go over the top? Which wouldn't fix the issue.

2. The window starts to rattle in excess of 80kmph, mainly on the passenger side. I have tried the guides but the pictures no longer work which makes it hard to find the problem. Can anyone link me to a DIY guide including pictures?

3. Part of the dash starts to rattle when on a certain angle, something may be loose inside but I have no idea on what it could possible be. Is this a common occurrence and how is it fixed?

4. When the car is parked on a certain angle (mainly on a slight hill) whenever I get out of the car the back of it makes a large crunching noise, it sounds like it's coming from the rear tires of the vehicle. (no I am not fat :P ) would this be suspension or something else?

These problems are starting to get annoying, help would be greatly appreciated,
cheers

1. pedals just need greasing.
2. Definatly need to change the guides but sorry I dont have a link for it
3. Will be loose wire or maybe something like screw etc behind it somewhere
4. Could just be sound of handbrake holding car as it creaks before it settles, or bushes in rear incl rear droplinks

Where do you put the grease? Because it's the actual plastic cover making the noise, but I can't see how it screws onto the plate.

It's not the handbrake, I would say it's the rear droplinks. But aren't these expensive to replace? :\

sorry i thought actual pedals are squeking from the pivot points on them, if just covers then try to tighten them or just remove.

get the droplinks from camskill ;)

you dont need to remove them you will see how they pivot etc tjust grease them and you will see kind of plunger style on brake and clutch ones do that too.

Its a prick of an angle to get ubder there though nd will have to remove drivers under dash panel etc to make enough room
