lost key

Post by eleftheriou »

Hey, i recently lost my key and called mitsubishi Aus with my vin number but they were no help. They said i needed to order a new key in and a new barrel, but even then they still didnt know the security code for the immobiliser.

Does anybody know the code to a 1995 Mitsubishi FTO, or does anybody know how i could get a replacement key that will also start the car.

liquidz1: you'll need to know the brand and maybe even model of the alarm and immobiliser. Then the manufacturer can tell you what you need to do.
If you can't do that I'd go and talk to the best local audio place, the might be able to help you. If all else fails call and auto lecy and get him to disconnect it till you can get it fixed if your not confident in doing that yourself.

eleftheriou, if you don't have another key I can't think of any other solution, sorry mate.

Would have to say that the problem is your starter motor, not alarm/immobiliser.

If it isn't starting try to just turn the key over and over til it does. Happens to mine all the time

Glad I could help, but don't think that it will just go away, get it replaced/reconditioned asap because it will happen again :)
