GR to GPX brake upgrade

Post by escucalin »

Hello everybody
i own a 95GR FTO
i recently bought a set of gpx front calipers 4 upgrade

i am now stuck at deciding what disks to buy
anyone has the grooved disks like the ones from camskill?
do they add noise at the already nosy engine and tires?
some doubts on pads too.. should i get something else than stock?

get DBA ones made here in oz wont be noisy just same as current ones. Get them from autobarn or possibly direct, 276mm (same as Magna ones cant remember model t-something)

As for pads do you drive hard, track days etc or just normal round town driver? Then you have to decide what pad is best for you, part number is db1226

i am a regular driver, no track no nothing ! and no aggressive braking

i'm in cyprus now so my only option is camskill due to delivery taxes (wish i can immigrate to Aussie :) )

so the baseline is .. if i get the grooved ones .. i will experience no extra noise ?!?

i ask this because i prefer the grooved .. since they look nicer:) and your experience might help me in taking a decision
