stepper motor supplier Adelaide

Post by Derf »

I think this didn't work last time. I'm looking for a new stepper motor for GPX and don't know where to look or what to ask for. I live in Adelaide and need to get car back on road asap. Are they the same as on some other mitsu car? Can I get one from dealer or there some aftermarket ones out there?

I purchased a brand new one off eBay for around the $110 mark, including postage.

They are the same unit as a 3000GT/GTOs stepper motor.

Yeah I got 1 from mitsubishi $280 put it in n car fired first hit. Guy at mitsu's said I would have to earth the base idle terminal for about 20mins to get it to the seventh step? This is what he has to do when he does his daughters cars, they're not FTO's so maybe Lancers but I have never heard of this ferminal nor understand the importance of the seventh step.

there not genuine though......i know in the end it doesnt really matter....i got warrenty on mine tooo since its electrical.....286 is the normal price its not an ex japan part common with other mitsu behicles just make sure u clean the throttle body where the stepperinserts really f**king well before u put in the new one with al int free cloth and some WD40 if you like :)

As for ocne its in make sure your car is cold and battery has been disconneted for 45mins...reconnect battery and turn on your car and adjust the idle screw so that on a COLD start the revs go up to 2K when you start the car.....then settle on 700rpm when the car warms up only adjsut the screw when the car is fully warm or you have jsut turned it on (COLD START)..

Oh and BENNOZ i jsut noticed your post count...u absolute POST WHORE!

I think its good it not genuine, as obviously they don't know how to make one, considering how many people have stepper issues.
