That I am not sure of.. I have a good japan suspension link on my pc @ work.. They do Cusco's.. I could look up on Monday to see it the Cusco part numbers are the same.. If they are, then Yeah.. Should work...lomosti wrote:Ok cool.
So do you reckon the galant ones would fit the fto?
Also, the second link i posted are apparently Eibach coilovers.
Also Eibach are a top brand in the states.. All tuners use them for Japan cars, and even American muscle ...

Eibach are the dogs danglies. Cold Rolled springs & you'd be hard pressed to find a race car that doesn't have them.
What you've posted however, are not coilovers but spring kits.
Gotta be careful with Amercian terminology. They'll call anything with a spring (or even just a spring!) a coilover.
If you want cheap coilovers, just buy the D2 /G4 / BC's off Ebay. You wont pay any less than $1200

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BC-Golds-Adjusta ... 53df9bcba3
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BC-Adjustable-Co ... 2eab3bbba3
Also be aware, these things will sprung as hard as f**k (9kg/mm fronts & 7kg/mm rears usually.) You should then factor in the cost of having them resprung & valved to Aus spec - unless the vendor is willing to supply as such.
Oh & just to throw in my personal opinion...
If you aint going racing, you dont need 'em. I dont even use coilovers! Plus there are only a handful of shops in the country that know how to set them up correctly with all the damper / bound & rebound / spring preload settings etc.

Oh ok so they're not coilovers haha.
Well I would have got them if they were coilovers as the price is very cheap! Even though I don't even race
But if the cheapest for coilovers is $1300, I don't need them.
So comparing the two together now and I can now spot they're not coilovers but an adjustable spring kit.
cheers guys

Coilovers FTW. I love them and wouldnt do it any other way but I do agree with Ben in regards to the, "Do not get the 9kg/mm fronts & 7kg/mm rears spring rates", 6 is the hardest I would go, depending on the profile of your tyre.
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Just Jap was recently doing a run out of all their G4 (Apparently the exact same gear as D2) coilovers for around $699, including postage. They had a listing for FTOs on eBay. I was very uncertain at the time as to whether I should pick up a set or not...
Now, considering I have my freshly painted FTO sitting in my shed, due to it being too low to drive, I'm looking around for a decent set of cheaper coil overs. The height adjustable feature apparent on most sets is very appealing.
I'm considering BC Racing GOLD series (also known as the BR series), since I have read good things about them on a few car club forums. I can get a set from a Boost Cruising site sponsor for $1200 posted to my door.
Has anyone had any experience with BC Racing on their FTO, or any other car for that matter?
