lol no i meant 300g of refridgerant with dye. we thought it wasnt holding the vaccumm before we gassed it up, thought it might be a small leak so we gassed it up to look for it and couple seconds later front of my house was full of white smoke lol. quite funny. but depressing. :(

After some research today unfortunatly it doesnt share the part with any other car :?
however I do believe that a latter model lancer (97+) may be able to be modified to work But not certain without seeing the two together with correct dimensions.
I did see one on Yahoo auctions Japan and price was cheap although used and if you ask Dstocks nicely he may be able to organise it for you :D

ill see if i can get mine fixed first because the one on there might be broken as well. Was wondering what the easiest way to get the condenser out is? Would it be to take the front bumper off or to pop the radiator out of its mounts and take it out that way.

Does anyone know anywhere thats reputable that can fix it? or have fixed theres before. the hole isnt in a weird location or anything.

Na jsut remove radiator fairly simple to get out then

Any good alloy welder should be able to patch up if repairable
