Reversing lights ; Locate switch

Hey guys,

Reversing lights have died in the ass. Where abouts can I find the reversing lights switch?

if manual its in the gearbox (black plug that sits at front on top of actual box) you will have to remove air intake pipe to get to it

Yep, I did mine a few weeks ago, very easy to do.

The size of the bolt is something like a 22, so I had to use a shifter. It was also very tight.

I didn't actually bother taking off the intake pipe, just look straight down at the gearbox (right hand side of the engine when facing it, if you didn't know) and it's a black plug with a single wire coming out of it.

No idea where it is on a tiptronic.

Found it 10mins after making this thread haha. Thanks guys.
(Need to replace the switch, it's dead)
