Be aware, they are just the headers - there is no 'collector' or 'Y-Pipe' - you will have to get that fabricated.
I once had one made for $300.
I have ported them & ground out all the weld dags proir to installing them on my car a few years back. Ideal for someone looking to get some real gains outta their exhaust system. Would be suitable for someone who has already done a Cat-back system. (Although they will help even if you haven't.)
Hey man,
Do you still have these for sale? How much would postage be to 6100 if you still have them? Are they ceramic coated?
I have a GR tip,and it is fully stock. I am looking to create some power at the low end. I have read through the forums and figured I'd be able to achieve this by doing the intake and outflow system. You'd be the best person to ask for advice on this issue, as you've had some brilliant mods to your FTO.
Btw, I was told, its not worth puttin a pod filter on an auto, also due to weather conditions in WA, is that true?
Cheers mate..
Just keep in mind you'll need to have a collector pipe made to suit these. Thats the pipe that joins the flow from these puppies & hooks it up into the cat & the rest of the system.
To get full benefit from these, get the collector made - into a 2.5" single pipe, join that to a nice high flow 2.5" cat, then get the ass end of your system made up in 2.5" with mandrel bent turns & high flow resonator & muffler.. you'll then have a sweet setup. To be honest, the gain in doing so, is more up high in the rpm range than down low, but you will feel noticeable improvement across the range regardless. The air filter mod will give you more down low.
I dunno whther I'd call putting a pod filter on 'not worth it.' It certainly would be if you got a cold air box made up for it & swapped out the factory cold air feed for a nice big pipe & plumbed it into your new air box.
Thanks Ben,
I am strapped for cash little bit at this stage, gettin my tints in before the summer sun burns the sh*t out of my new speakers n seats. Will pm u in a few days if i still want the extractors.
Cheers for the info on the air intake too..shall look into it in due time.
