Need help in buying velside

Post by StRaWberi »

Hey

I am currently looking to buy veilside body kit (excluding spoiler) for my 95 fto, i have a quote for $900 plus $700 fitting and painting.
Just wondering if thats a reasonable price for the kit.

I also have a personalised plate (6 characters), however with the standard body kit, the plate is a little too long. Would it fit on the veilside?

Just curious, i have heard from friends that a plastic body kit is better than the carbon fibre ones, is this true and why is it the case?

Thanks

I think you mean Plastic is better than Fibreglass...not Carbon Fibre(Carbon Fibre = perrty but DAMN expensive)...

as for the kit...thats obviously for a veilside copy, and the 'good price' factor would depend on where from and the quality of the fit...

perhaps mentioning where the price is from may result in answering the above question...

welcome to the club StRaWberi :D

Cyber Century is the cheapest place to buy bodykits in Melbourne as far as I'm aware of (and as far as copies go). I'm presuming it's $900 for the front bar, rear bar and sideskirts only plus $700 for paint and fit, so i suppose that sounds about right...
