comes in handy during twisty decents..
me to i hate the smell of bernt brakes and when you ride the brakes your making your brake lights redundant.

dont think it will ever get redundant, its important that people behind you know that you're slowing down, keeping a steady speed(slope), or stopping - gives you a heads up

Having a brake light is completely redundant when it is always on, which was alekazam point. The brake light is there to indicate that you are stopping and not that you are keeping a steady speed.

the XR hascruise control and when your going down a hill it speeds up still and then returns to your set speed when your on a flat road.

and with your 2nd last post - if a car had enough room between his and your car it would be safer then having them relying on you to brake so they know to slow down.
