Air con HELP!!!!
hey guys, sorry for the noob Q's, but recently the buttons for the air-con has been playing up. the buttons to the right of the little screen that shows the temperature works fine, buh the three to the left( on/button, snowflake & the air-con level ) will work at times and not at other times. i'd have it on for a while and won't be able to turn it off. and it keeps happening, does anyone know the issue and where i could get it fixed? thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same problem. I guess you can replace the control unit, as was suggested to me. I'm just living with it for the moment, using the de-mister vents for heating/cooling, until the unit decides to function fully.hey guys, sorry for the noob Q's, but recently the buttons for the air-con has been playing up. the buttons to the right of the little screen that shows the temperature works fine, buh the three to the left( on/button, snowflake & the air-con level ) will work at times and not at other times. i'd have it on for a while and won't be able to turn it off. and it keeps happening, does anyone know the issue and where i could get it fixed? thanks in advance.

Using the a/c will definitly use more petrol. No Cass its not just a fan, it is a compressor which puts more strain on the engine eg makes the engine work harder for the same output. When you push your a/c button it engages the clutch which turns the compressor from free rolling to actually turning the insides of compressor. That is as simple as I can make it. Hope that makes sense
