Hi Guys
My car has started to make knocking noises when i'm driving, happens when i let go of the pedal and stops when i accelerate or brake abit harder.
I can hear it's coming from under the drivers seat somewhere at the front, sounds like a helicopter when i accelerate hard and let go!
Car shakes like crazy when it happens, including steering wheel and doors rattle.
Was scared driving it to work today, any ideas before i head to the mechanic?
Cheers

Hey Bennoz
Yeah that was the first thing i thought, the engine mounts, might get them changed first since its been about 100000kms anyway.

Dont change them if they dont need to be. However I do agree with ben that it is most likely the mounts.
Get a tourch and someone to rev the engine while you look at the mounts. You should be able to clearly see the ripped mount. Also there will also be a decent movement of the engine.

Cool, Bursons have them for 65 each front and rear.
Might get them changed soon, using the DIY guide.
If it's not that, what else do you think i should look at?

Looks like its my steering rack or the cv joints, as my steering has gone abit weird but the knocking has gone a lot softer, going to take it in tomorow and see how it goes.
